An architecture studio that signs the project and a construction firm that builds it do not always speak the same language. At Urbancat they are the same voice since 2003.

The five services you will find are not independent business lines: they are phases of the same craft. Someone who comes with a plot may need architecture, contracting and project management. Someone with a home to renovate may only need execution. We work at any of those stages with the same methodology.

Build new build.

We build from scratch. Single-family homes, multi-family buildings and residential developments. From the drawing signed by our studio to the turnkey handover, with full control over every trade, every material and every deadline.

Full renovations.

We renovate homes, commercial premises and offices to the same technical standards as new build. An intervention that rethinks the space from top to bottom, with no compromise for quick fixes.

Main contractor.

When the project already exists — signed by the client's architect — we take over. One single point of contact, one single party accountable to the developer. No friction between design and execution.

Architecture studio.

We design the way we build: with material judgement, technical thinking and respect for the site. We can intervene at the design phase only or link design, licences and project management.

Refurbishment and maintenance.

Barcelona ages well when it is looked after. We rehabilitate facades, roofs, courtyards, structures and building envelopes with technical rigour and sensitivity. We manage ITE, grants and residents' communities.

Which service do you need?

Three quick questions to identify your situation. If you are unsure, we will guide you at the first technical visit with no obligation.

Do you have a plot or are you building from scratch?

You need a technical project, licences and full execution. The new build service is what you need, or, if you already have a project, the main contractor service.

If it is a full intervention — layout, installations, finishes — it is a full renovation. If you only need to execute an external project, the main contractor service applies.
